Prosper.com is a peer to peer lending site, almost the eBay of personal loans.  You create an account, enter your personal information, and they will do a “soft” pull on your credit report.  You can make a listing with a little explanation of why you want the money, or do a full listing explaining why you want money, how you will pay it back, explain why you have bad credit, etc.  The lenders can not see your personal information.  They only see your credit profile that shows them how likely you are to pay back the loan.  Lenders can bid on your loan for as little as $25 up to the full amount.  It’s a great way to get money fast, or get great returns on your investments.
